Held A Job Vacancies Festival In Velodrome, DKI Provincial Government Reminds Applicants Not To Bring Physical Registration Files

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will hold a Job Vacancies Festival (Jobfest) at the Jakarta International Velodrome Flag Plaza, Jalan Balap Bicycle, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19-20, 2025.

Jobfest will be filled by 40 companies that open booths containing job vacancies information. The event took place from 10.00 to 16.00 WIB.

Head of the Syaripudin Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (DTKTE) advised that residents who will apply for jobs do not need to bring registration files physically. Because, there is no mechanism for stacking the Jakarta Jobfest 2025 file.

"At Jobfest 2025 there is no physical accumulation of files, everything is done digitally to avoid data misuse," Syaripudin said in his statement, Wednesday, August 13.

He said that the absence of a buildup of physical files in Jobfest which will be held next week also aims to avoid the accumulation of participants or overcrowding during the activity.

"There will still be a walk-in interview, but the mechanism has been arranged in such a way, so it is hoped that there will be no accumulation of participants," said Syaripudin.

In addition, there is a difference between Jobfest 2025 and the previous job fair or job exchange in Jakarta. This festival not only contains job vacancies information, but there are also seminars or talk shows to increase careers from professional provincial and private governments.

"There are also training showcases ranging from makeup, barista, to welding, public service cars from Dukcapil, permits, mobile libraries, to mobile Samsat. There is also an entertainment stage for visiting people," explained Syaripudin.

This activity with the theme "from Jakarta, Achieve Job Opportunities" will open around 2,000 jobs from 40 companies.

These stocks range from sectors from the manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and communication industries, buildings, finance, insurance and rental, wholesale trade, restaurants and hospitality, to social, social, and entertainment services.

In addition to information on job vacancies, the Jakarta Jobfest 2025 also provides booths for job training centers, talk shows related to careers, entertainment performances, and public service cars.
