SOUTH TANGERANG A motorcyclist died after being a victim of a hit-and-run on Siliwangi Street, to be precise near Kimia Farma Pharmacy, Pamulang Barat Village, Pamulang District, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in the morning.
The victim with the initials DAA rode a pink automatic motorbike from Pamulang to Viktor at around 02.00 WIB. The Head of Gakkum at the South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit, Ipda Marulloh, said this incident involved a truck whose identity of the driver and vehicle was still mysterious.
"The truck drove quite fast from the same direction, then hit the back of the victim's motorbike until the victim fell onto the road," said Marulloh, Tuesday.
The violent collision left the victim seriously injured in the head and died on the spot. The body was then taken to the Tangerang District Hospital for post-mortem purposes. Meanwhile, the victim's motorbike suffered severe damage to the front and left body.

After the incident, the truck driver immediately fled leaving the victim without giving any help. The police are now hunting for the perpetrator.
"We are still conducting an investigation and trying to identify the truck vehicles involved," said Marulloh.
