BOGOR - Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim, said that immigrants from outside Bogor City in the agglomeration areas of Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jadetabek) are still allowed to visit tourist attractions in Bogor City during the Eid Al-Fitr 1422 H.

However, entrants are required to show the results of the rapid antigen test, antigen swab, and PCR swab, with a negative result for COVID-19.

"The Bogor City Government still refers to the PPKM Regulation (enforcement of restrictions on community activities). If the Mayor's Circular on PPKM is still relevant, visitors must show negative COVID-19 test results," said Dedie A. Rachim, Sunday, May 9.

According to Dedie A Rachim, ahead of Eid Al-Fitr 1422 H, the Bogor City Government will make a special circular to owners of tourist attractions in Bogor City.

Previously, the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya said, regarding tourist attractions on the Lebaran 2021 holiday, the Bogor City Government was still consulting with the central government, namely the National COVID-19 Handling Task Force.

"The Bogor City Government is also formulating more detailed and detailed rules regarding tourist attractions on the Lebaran holiday," said Bima Arya, in Bogor City, Friday, May 7.

The Bogor City Government, he said, is proposing the enactment of the requirements for the antigen swab test within 1x24 hours with negative results for arrivals at tourist attractions, before any further policies from the central government for the Lebaran holiday, on May 13-16, 2021.

According to Bima Arya, the Bogor City Government is also coordinating with the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta regarding plans to open or close tourist attractions.

If the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government opens tourist attractions during the Eid holidays, then the City of Bogor will also do the same. "We are still waiting for the policy from Jakarta," he said.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has decided not to close tourist attractions in Jakarta during the Lebaran holiday in 2021, even though it is predicted that it will be crowded with residents.

The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, through the Tourism and Creative Economy Office, issued Circular Letter Number 81/SE/2021 concerning Operations of Tourist/Recreation Places on Eid Al-Fitr 1442 H/2021 Holidays during the Implementation of Restrictions on Micro-Based Community Activities (PPKM).

The circular letter was signed by the Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Gumilar Ekalaya, in Jakarta, Friday, May 7, 2021.

According to Gumilar Ekalaya, there are still high positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia and the emergence of new variants of the coronavirus from abroad, so it is necessary to limit tourism business activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
