After The Food Station Oplosan Rice Case, Pramono Implements KPI For DKI BUMD

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung set an indicator of performance assessment (KPI) to DKI Jakarta regional-owned enterprises (BUMD).

The BUMDs belonging to the DKI Provincial Government also signed an integrity pact. Pramono emphasized professionalism in managing well-systemed companies in every Jakarta BUMD.

"For key performance indicators (KPI), please really maintain this," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, August 6.

The determination of KPI by Pramono to BUMDs was carried out shortly after the case of mixed rice that dragged PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya. Where, the President Director and Director of Operations Food Station were named suspects.

"In my opinion, the track record is an important thing. Hopefully this will be a good start for the arrangement of BUMD in Jakarta," said Pramono.

Furthermore, Pramono advised that the ranks of BUMD be professionally oriented. He appealed to the Jakarta BUMD to go public through an initial public offering (IPO). In the near future, there are two Jakarta BUMDs that will be listed on the stock exchange, namely Bank Jakarta and PAM Jaya.

"I am sure, I see the public response, we can do these two BUMDs IPOs, then followed by other BUMDs. I also appreciate the ideas and ideas in the field for developing BUMDs to be even better," he explained.

Pramono hopes that this BUMD improvement effort can encourage Jakarta to be more parallel to other global cities. For this reason, collaboration and colossal work are needed in every BUMD line, from commissioners, directors, to all employees, in realizing a professional, transparent, and accountable BUMD.

"I give my full trust and hope that hopefully this can be managed properly. So, we can achieve Jakarta's hopes of becoming the top 50 global city in 2030 together," he added.
