Basarnas Operations and Training Director, Edy Prakoso, confirmed that as many as 80 people who were on board when the incident occurred, they consisted of 73 local residents and two foreigners from China and five crew members (ABK).

The victims who died were identified as Shi Guo Hong (20) and Hanqing Yu (37), both men with Chinese citizenship.
Meanwhile, the victim who is still being searched is a resident named Kadek Adi (23).
Basarnas reported that as many as 15 survivors were being treated at Bali Mandara Hospital, East Denpasar District, due to injuries and conditions after the accident.
This incident occurred when the Dolphin II fast boat was sailing from Nusa Penida Harbor to Sanur Harbor.
The ship was later reported to have sunk and ran aground in the entrance channel to the destination port on Tuesday (6/8) at around 15.00 WITA, because it was suspected that after being hit by a big wave.
