West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim summoned the management of Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) 34,116,12 Kembangan, West Jakarta, regarding the incident of the mixing of pertalite with diesel.
"Surely we are the BAP (Investigation Report). We will call them today for the BAP," said West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Arfan Zulkan Sipayung, ANTARA, Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
He said his party called more than three witnesses, including gas station managers and supervisors.
"Witnesses, such as officers at that time, managers, supervisors. We checked since morning at 10.00 WIB, it is not certain how long it will be," he said.
If it is proven that there is an element of negligence, he continued, then it can be subject to Law number 8 of 1999 concerning consumer protection.
As of 12.08 WIB, the gas station has not provided further information regarding the investigation by the police because it is known that gas station management is not at the location.
The gas station operation was also closed so that many motorists finally turned around and canceled filling up fuel oil (BBM).

Previously, the SPBU 34,116,12 on Jalan Kembang Kerep, Kembangan, West Jakarta, reported that due to the officer's negligence, a number of motorbikes broke down after refueling at the gas station.
"There was an error in filling the tank car into the tube. Biosolar fuel entered pertalite. It was the fault of the supervisor who carried out the activity not to move the tube to the tank. So there was a break-in of the customer motorbikes," said Gas Station Manager 34,116,12 Thousand Sitorus, Monday (4/8).
"So far, there have been reports, I haven't seen all of them, reports of 20 kiloliters plus 8,000 liters of diesel (which officers negligently included)," he continued.
Following up on this negligence, his party is responsible for paying for the losses or damage suffered by motorists.
"As a result of all of this we are responsible. For the losses of our customers," he stressed.
After receiving the first report of customer motorcycle damage due to inappropriate fuel, the SPBU 34,116,12 immediately stopped selling Pertalite fuel.
"So far, I have only had 15 (motor) reports. And we will do more data, maybe the number of customers who have run out of here is not aware. The motorbike is still running," said Persaudians.
