Good News For 837 Teachers In West Aceh, Starting To Receive Certification Fund Of IDR 3.6 Billion

JAKARTA - A total of 837 teachers from Kindergarten, Elementary School, and Junior High School levels in West Aceh District have received certification funds from the government of more than IDR 3.6 billion.

"The certification funds that have been disbursed in the first phase are certification funds in December 2020 and were received on May 5", said the Head of the West Aceh District Education Office Bismi in Meulaboh, reported by Antara, Friday, May 7.

According to him, the delay in the distribution of teacher professional allowance funds in the form of certification for hundreds of teachers in West Aceh was due to delays related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Due to the refocusing of the budget for handling COVID-19 in 2020, the teacher professional allowance can only be distributed in May 2021", added Bismi.

Meanwhile, the funds for certification from January to March 2021, are currently in the process of being disbursed.

He hopes that the three-month teacher professional allowance will be disbursed to each teacher's account in West Aceh on Monday, May 10 next week.

So that teachers can enjoy Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijriyah with their families, and use the funds as a necessity to celebrate Eid.

Bismi explained the data for certification recipient teachers who had been declared valid to receive certification funds for three months in 2021 totaled 818 people.

There is also a total budget that will be transferred by the regional government for more than IDR 10 billion, sourced from non-physical Special Allocation Funds.

The West Aceh Regency Government hopes that with the distribution of the professional teacher allowance in the form of certification funds of IDR 10 billion, it is hoped that the economic growth of the people in this area will be better with the large circulation of money in the community, he said.
