TNI Members Stabbed In Blok M Night Burial Place Starting From A Collision

The motive of a man with the initials RU, allegedly stabbing a TNI member with the initials RR at an entertainment venue in Blok M area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta was triggered by a bump.

"The motive started from a bump inside the location of the nightclub (THM) and then an argument outside," said Head of Resmob South Jakarta Police AKP Bima Sakti to reporters, Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Bima said that initially the people around the location had intervened, but they continued to quarrel again.

Until finally, the perpetrator who was carried away by emotions chose to stab the victim with the knife he was always carrying.

"He brought a knife, he did have to take care of himself," he said.

He said the perpetrator often carried a knife because he had been held at gunpoint around Blok M by an unknown person.

Now, officers have examined the perpetrators and several witnesses for further questioning.

Previously, the police arrested a man with the initials RU, a suspected stabbing TNI member with the initials RR at an entertainment venue in Blok M area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in the early hours of the morning.

The victim was stabbed 13 times and is being treated by the hospital. The perpetrator and the victim did not know each other.

The police also examined three crime scenes, namely the entertainment venue, the location of the victim and the perpetrator, and the parking lot where the stabbing was located.

Then, the police managed to arrest the perpetrator at his home in East Jakarta on Sunday (27/7) night.

For his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding the criminal act of beating and Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning the crime of persecution with a threat of five years in prison.
