DENPASAR - Chairman of the Bali PDI-P DPD Wayan Koster revealed that after implementing technical guidance (bimtek) for the DPR and DPRD from the PDI-P on Wednesday (30/7) yesterday, the agenda will continue with party consolidation.

Koster conveyed this in order to emphasize that the agenda of thousands of PDI-P cadres on the Island of the Gods since yesterday is not to hold a congress.

"Consolidation of the party, until the 2nd (August), there is no (congress) of party consolidation," said the Governor of Bali, Thursday, July 31.

He explained that the consolidation of the party will last for two days from tomorrow Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) Nusa Dua.

This activity will only be attended by the chairman, secretary, and treasurer of the PDI-P throughout Indonesia, with an agenda of strengthening party solidity.

Wayan Koster said the party's consolidation was held by the PDI-P DPP and there was no agenda to discuss the Secretary General of Hasto Kristiyanto who was sentenced to the Harun Masiku case.

Until now, it is also reported that consolidation participants have not arrived in Nusa Dua and there is no certainty about the participation of PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"Hopefully (Megawati Soekarnoputri) will attend, but if the congress is not now, it's not there yet, tomorrow (consolidation) at 2 o'clock in Nusa Dua behind closed doors," said Koster.

It is important to note that the PDI-P cadre agenda in Bali took place on Wednesday (30/7) yesterday in the form of technical guidance from the Ministry of Home Affairs to party members in the council faction.

PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri herself was present at the Ministry of Home Affairs' bimtek location to give directions for cadres to be solid and always comply with party decisions.

According to him, organizational discipline and mutual cooperation within the party is an important thing to implement, not to be trapped in personal interests that can weaken collective forces.

"This party must be bigger, don't get smaller, you have to feel like you are a family, you have to work together, if you work together like that, the people will come with us," said Megawati.
