JAKARTA - The police concluded that the cause of death of the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan was due to disturbances in the oxygen exchange in the respiratory tract, causing weakness.
"So, the cause of death of the victim was due to disturbances in the oxygen exchange in the upper respiratory tract which caused weakness," said Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra to reporters, Tuesday, July 29.
The conclusion is based on the results of an autopsy conducted by a forensic team from Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) and outside examinations.
In addition to the cause of death, the examination also found several wounds on the face of Arya Daru Pangayunan.
"Found the results, namely abrasions on the face and neck, open wounds on the inner lip, bruises on the face of the lips and members of the right top movement," he said.
"In the examination, it was found that the blood was darker and dilute, mucus and fine foam on the skull stem, pulmonary sembab, signs of dams all of the internal organs, and no disease was found in the inner organs," continued Wira.

As for the results of the toxicology examination, no substances or diseases were found that caused oxygen exchange. Only paracetamol and Chlorpheniramine substances are found which generally exist in cold drugs.
"No substance was found that caused oxygen exchange, no disease or substance was found which could cause disturbances in the exchange of oxygen in the organs or tissues in the victims," said Wira.
The police previously also concluded that there was no involvement of other parties or criminal elements in the series of deaths of Arya Daru Pangayunan.
"It is concluded that indicators rather than deaths rather than ADP lead to indications of death without the involvement of other parties," said Wira.
Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.
