Diplomacy On The Food Table, Prabowo Welcomes PM Anwar In The Dinner Association In Kertanegara

JAKARTA - Malaysian Prime Minister, His Excellency Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, was greeted by a dinner at the private residence of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, South Jakarta, Monday, July 28 evening.

In the uploaded photos, Anwar's arrival in Kertanegara was greeted directly by President Prabowo in a familiar atmosphere.

The two leaders of the country were then seen sitting face-to-face at the dining table while talking warmly.

The dinner invitation was also attended by a number of officials, including Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Angga Raka Prabowo.

This activity opened a series of state visits by PM Anwar in the context of the 13th Annual Consultation between Indonesia and Malaysia.

During the official visit which took place on Tuesday, Prabowo and Anwar were scheduled to discuss various strategic cooperations that had been established between the two countries.

The meeting will also be accompanied by the signing of four memorandums of understanding (MoU) in cooperation related to land borders, and cooperation in the fields of health, technology, and communication.

It is known that PM Anwar arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta at around 20.00 WIB, welcomed by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian and Foreign Minister Sugiono. Then, there is also the Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno.

Right below the flight steps, PM Anwar immediately greeted the Minister of Home Affairs Tito, guided by the Head of State Protocol Andy Rachmianto, then Anwar continued to greet Foreign Minister Sugiono and Deputy Governor Rano Karno.

PM Anwar's main agenda for the visit to Jakarta is scheduled to take place at the Merdeka Palace on Tuesday morning.

At the Merdeka Palace, PM Anwar will be accompanied by his ministers, namely Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan, Minister of Home Affairs Saifuddin Nasution, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry Tengku Zafrul Aziz, and Minister of Education Fadhlina Sidek. Then, there is also the Head of Sarawak Abang State Johari Openg and state officials Sabah Hajiji Noor.
