JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, asked Commission I of the DPR to immediately invite the government through the relevant ministries, for a meeting to discuss the issue of data on Indonesian citizens (WNI) managed by the United States (US) as part of a trade agreement between the two countries.

Dasco emphasized that the leadership of the DPR could not comment and take further action regarding the issue of transferring Indonesian citizen data to the US if there was no clear information from the government.
