Here Is The Lailatul Qadar Night Prayer

JAKARTA - Lailatul Qadar night is a special night because it is the night when the Prophet Muhammad SAW first received the revelation of the Qur'an from Allah SWT through the angel Gabriel.

The night of Lailatul Qadar occurs on the odd night of the last 10 days of Ramadan, but none of the Muslims know exactly.

As reported from nu.or.id, the glory of Lailatul Qadar is explained in many hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, among others is the hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah ra:

<> من قام ليلة القدر ايمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه ومن صام رمضان ايمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه

Whoever performs ibadah on the night of qadar with faith and sincerity, then his past sins are forgiven. And whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan, with faith and sincerity, then his past sins are forgiven". (Sahih Hadith, narrated by al-Bukhari: 1768 and Muslim: 1268).

Of the thousands of various forms of worship to Allah SWT, which can be done on the night of Lailatul Qadar, but from so many there is an act of worship recommended by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as narrated by five hadith imams:

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ يَارَسُوْلَ اللهِ اَرَاَيْتَ اِنْ عَلِمْتُ اَيُّ لَيْلَةٍ لَيْلًةَ الْقَدْرِ مَااَقُولُ فِيْهَا. قَالَ قُوْلِى اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّى

From Syayidah 'A'ishah, ra, she said: I asked the Messenger of Allah SAW, What do you think, if I find the night of Lailatul Qadar, then what prayer should I say that night? Rasullullah SAW, replied; pray by saying "O my Lord, indeed You are the Most Forgiving, and love to give forgiveness to His servants, so forgive me my mistakes." (HR Five Imam hadith, except imam Abu Daud).
