Honda Cikarang Employees Become The Brain For Disposal Of Babies In Cakung

JAKARTA - MR (20) a man an employee of Honda Cikarang became the mastermind behind the disposal of a 7-day-old baby in the Ujung Krawang area, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

The suspect had the heart to throw away the baby of his blood because of an illicit relationship outside of marriage.

"This MR man works for one of the Honda companies in Cikarang," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Wednesday, July 16.

MR is known to have been in a relationship with his girlfriend with the initials HAA since 2024. It is known, HAA is older than himself. The age of the woman with the initials HAA is around 29 years old.

"MR's girlfriend with the initials HAA is a odd worker. Even though she is not married, they have been in a relationship like husband and wife since October 2024," he said.

As a result of the illicit relationship outside of the marriage, HAA was pregnant with MR's child.

"Precisely 9 months the person concerned gave birth at one of the hospitals in Bekasi," he said.

After giving birth, the two suspects had returned to their boarding house in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. Then MR proposed throwing the 7-day-old baby boy away.

Furthermore, the two suspects negotiated until they finally decided to throw the baby from Cikarang into the Cakung area, East Jakarta.

For their actions, the two suspects were charged with Article 76B, Article 77B of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection and or Article 307 of the Criminal Code and or Article 305 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of five years in prison.
