Foreigner Woman From Afghanistan Jumps From The 19th Floor Of The Kalibata City Apartment, Still Alive

JAKARTA - A woman from a foreign national (WNA) from Afghanistan named Anita (23) fell from the 19th floor of Tower Jasmine, Kalibata City Apartment, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

The victim suffered a broken wound to his leg and landed on the roof of the kiosk. The victim is a resident of the apartment.

"Victim Anita, 23 years old. (jumping) from the 19th floor. Yes, yes, (the leg) is broken. The victim is Afghan, yes (woman)," said Pancoran Police Chief, Kompol Mansur when confirmed, Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Kompol Mansur confirmed that the victim was one of the residents in the apartment. The victim lives with her husband.

"There was her husband, coincidentally her husband was working. The occupant (victim) was there with his brother," he said.

The incident of the woman falling from the 19th floor had caused a stir in the residents of other apartments that were below. Residents did not expect that the victim was still alive when he fell from the 19th floor.

"It happened last Tuesday around half past six (sore) at the Jasmine tower. Now he has been taken to the hospital, in a conscious condition, he can talk to him," he said.

Meanwhile, the case of an Afghan citizen jumping from the 19th floor of the Kalibata City apartment is still under investigation by the Pancoran Police.
