KPK Calls 12 Witnesses To Investigate Allegations Of Bribery For Dredging Shipping Lanes 4 Ports

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned 12 people to witness the alleged bribery case in the shipping lane dredging project at four ports.

"The examination took place at the Semarang Polrestabes, Central Java, on behalf of NF, MN, EPH, WWH, IWP, WDM, PTA, SGP, ARS, SFD, TLP, and BU," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo when confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta, Wednesday.

Budi explained that the identities of the witnesses were private parties with the initials EPH, IWP, and BU.

Then the president director at PT Nuriz Butom Adhi Pradana with the initials NF, the president director at PT Gunadharma Cipta Persada with the initials TLP, and a director at PT Prawiramas Puriprima with the initials SGP.

Meanwhile, six witnesses with background were involved in the dredging project of the Samarinda Port shipping channel, namely the initials MN, WWH, WDM, PTA, ARS, and SFD.

Based on the information gathered, the six witnesses are known to be project surveyors for the 2016 fiscal year Moh. Nasir (MN), project engineering manager for the 2016 fiscal year Wawan Hudiyanto (WH), project supervisor for the 2015 fiscal year Widiatmoko (WDM), head of field supervisor for the 2016 budget year project Putut Tri Asmara (PTA), project implementer for the 2016 fiscal year Aris Susanto (ARS), and project supervisor for the 2015 Syaifudin (SFD) budget year.

Previously, the KPK on June 27, 2024 announced that it had started an investigation into the alleged corruption case of the shipping lane dredging project in four ports, then named nine people as suspects in the case.

The alleged corruption case occurred in the following work project:

1. The work package for dredging the shipping lanes of Tanjung Emas Port, Central Java, fiscal year 2015, 2016, and 2017,

2. Work package for dredging the shipping lanes of Samarinda Port, East Kalimantan, 2015 and 2016 fiscal years,

3. The work package for dredging the shipping lanes of Benoa Port, Bali, fiscal year 2014, 2015, and 2016,

4. The work package for dredging the shipping lane for Pulang Pisau Port, South Kalimantan, for the 2013 and 2016 fiscal years.
