JAKARTA - Iran's armed forces have warned Israel of a new wave of "catastrophic attacks" with new and sophisticated weapons that will increase in the next few hours.
Iran's state news agency, IRNA, quoted Land Forces Commander Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari as saying hundreds of long-range unmanned aircraft with targeted capabilities and heavily damaged power have attacked areas in Israeli cities, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
"The enemy must know that a new wave of devastating attacks by the armed forces, especially ground forces, with new and sophisticated weapons has begun and will increase in the coming hours," Heidari said.
Yesterday, the Iranian military launched a new drone destroyer - Shahed 107 - with a claim range of 1,500 kilometers (930 miles).
It is unclear whether this weapon has been used in the conflict.
