Business Entity Of The IKN Authority Learns Infrastructure Management To BUMD Jakarta

JAKARTA - Three regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) DKI Jakarta, namely Perumda Pasar Jaya, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), and PT Transjakarta signed cooperation with state-owned enterprises (BUMN) assigned to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, namely PT Bina Karya.

In the signing of the cooperation witnessed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung and the Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimoeljono, PT Bina Karya will learn about infrastructure management at IKN from the three DKI BUMDs.

"The authority business body of PT Bina Karya is studying with BUMD-BUMD in DKI Jakarta for infrastructure management, waste management, water management. All of that is in DKI Jakarta," said Basuki at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 16.

Basuki said that later BUMD-BUMD in Jakarta will share knowledge or knowledge about infrastructure management based on the experience of working on development in Jakarta so that it can be applied to IKN.

"I think the first stage is learning in particular. That's why I say that the one who is currently the most profitable is IKN because we learn from our seniors at BUMD Jakarta," said Basuki.

As an area projected as a new capital city and a government center, Basuki continued, the Authority Agency is developing a number of important infrastructures in IKN, such as the presidential palace, toll roads, residential of state civil servants (ASN), places of worship, to other offices.

"So the goal is to share for the first time, for the training ground of Bina Karya as well as to strengthen Bina Karya in infrastructure management at IKN," said Basuki.

Continuing, Pramono admitted that the development and city planning of Jakarta assigned by the DKI BUMD did not actually run smoothly. There are also mistakes or failures that have become lessons for DKI BUMD. Thus, this knowledge will be shared with Bina Karya to be studied.

"This is what will be transferred later from BUMD Jakarta, it will be submitted to BUMD IKN so that what is not good will not be repeated, but what is fine, which is successful, a factor that can then be continued at IKN, including waste management," explained Pramono.
