The Attorney General's Office (AGO) plans to re-examine the President Director of PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex), Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto, in a case of alleged corruption related to providing credit facilities to PT Sritex and its subsidiary. This follow-up examination is scheduled to take place next week.

"Investigators are scheduling an examination of the person concerned this week," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the AGO, Harli Siregar, when confirmed on Monday, June 16, 2025.

However, Harli could not confirm the day and time of the examination. He said the agenda was still in the scheduling process.

Previously, Iwan had undergone an examination on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. The examination carried out by a team of investigators from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) lasted for 10 hours.

"It didn't feel like the time of the examination was 10 hours. There were about 20 questions," said Iwan after the examination.

Although he did not reveal in detail the contents of the examination, Iwan stated that his party had submitted a number of documents requested by investigators. He also expressed his appreciation for the examination process.

"I also salute the Prosecutor's team who are very, very well able to investigate. Service is also good," he added.

According to Harli, further examination will focus more on Iwan's role in the process of submitting and disbursing credit which is the subject of the case.

"This is more about whether or not the person concerned is involved in the process of submitting and disbursing credit," he explained.

This alleged corruption case in providing credit facilities to Sritex is one of the focuses of the AGO's Jampidsus investigation, given the potential state losses and involvement of a number of parties. Examination of Iwan is an important part in uncovering the construction of cases thoroughly.
