JAKARTA - The management of the Jayapura Dok II Regional General Hospital (RSUD) said that electronic-based health services were disrupted due to the disconnection of the optical cable which caused the internet network in the area to be unable to function. Director of RSUD Dok II Jayapura Aloysius Giyai, in Jayapura, Monday, May 3 said since Internet network is disrupted, health services using applications are also constrained. "For example, if someone wants to seek treatment using BPJS Kesehatan, our officers cannot access the data," he said. "In the end we decided to use the manual method, but in order to be accountable to BPJS Kesehatan, we are still considering how to do it," he said.

He explained that his party is coordinating with a third party so that they can provide solutions or other alternatives so that health services can be maximally enjoyed by the community. "We really hope that this internet network will soon be normalized so that health services will not be disturbed," he said.
