JAKARTA - Iran said dialogue with the US over Tehran's nuclear program was "significant" after Israel's biggest military offensive against its arch-foe, accusing Washington of supporting the attack.

"Other parties (US) act in a way that makes dialogue meaningless. You cannot claim to negotiate and at the same time divide jobs by letting the Zionist regime (Israel) target Iran's territory," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei.

He said Israel "has succeeded in influencing" the diplomatic process and Israeli attacks would not have occurred without Washington's permission.

Iran previously accused the US of involvement in Israeli attacks, but Washington denied the allegations.

The US at the United Nations (UN) Security Council said it would "wise" for Tehran to negotiate on its nuclear program.

The sixth round of US-Iran nuclear negotiations will be held on Sunday in Muscat, but it is unclear whether it will resume after the Israeli attack.

Iran denies its uranium enrichment program is aimed at purposes other than civilian purposes, rejecting Israel's accusations that Iran is secretly developing nuclear weapons.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump urged Iranian officials to make a nuclear deal with the United States. Trump stated that protracted negotiations between the two sides were the cause of Israel launching a preliminary attack.

"I gave Iran the opportunity after an opportunity to make a deal. I told them, with the loudest words, to ' JUST do it,' but no matter how hard they try, no matter how close they are, they can't do it," Trump said in a post. on Truth Social reported by ABC News, Friday, June 13.

Trump then issued a stern warning there would be more destruction if no deal was signed immediately.

"There have been many deaths and destructions, but there is still time to end this massacre, with the next attack already planned to be more brutal. Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what used to be known as the Iranian Empire," he said.
