Police Hunt 2 Perpetrators Of The Theft Of A 10-year-old Boy's Motorbike In Bandar Lampung

The Bandarlampung City Police (Polresta) is hunting for the alleged perpetrator of the robbery of a motorbike belonging to a 10-year-old boy, a resident of Tanjung Senang District, which occurred on Saturday, June 7.

"We are currently investigating and conducting an in-depth investigation regarding the alleged case of confiscation of the boy's motorbike," said Head of Public Relations of the Bandar Lampung Police, AKP Agustina Nilawati, in Bandar Lampung, Monday, June 9, confiscated by Antara.

He also said that the police had visited the location and conducted a crime scene (TKP), as well as saw CCTV footage at the location.

"We have also asked for information from the victim of the robbery of the motorbike," he said.

He explained that the robbery of the motorbike occurred on Jalan Kemuning, Labuhan Dalam, Tanjung Senang, when the victim was riding his motorbike, two men were asked.

"Then the victim was stopped and the two men pretended to ask about the whereabouts of the victim's parents," he said.

He said that after the boy answered that his parents were at home, the perpetrator asked to be taken to the victim's house by taking over the wheel of the motorbike.

"When he was going to the victim's house, one of the perpetrators took over the wheel of the motorbike and rode the victim. Arriving at Jalan Kemuning, the perpetrator pushed and forced the victim to get off the motorbike," he said.

However, he said, the victim fought back by holding the body being behind the motorbike so that the victim was dragged away until it was finally released and the perpetrator managed to escape.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered abrasions on his elbows, legs and back. This case is still being investigated by the Bandar Lampung Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Tanjung Senang Police," he said.
