Riau Islands Police Raid Hidden Lab Production Of Etomade Vape Liquid

The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Riau Islands Regional Police raided a hidden minilab producing electronic cigarette liquid or vapependungomydate located in an apartment in the Harbour Bay area, Batam City.

The Director of Drug Investigation at the Riau Islands Police, Kombes Anggoro Wicaksono, said that during the raid, officers arrested a perpetrator with the initials TZ and secured 90 items of evidence.

"So much evidence, we have to conduct an examination at the Pekanbaru Forensic Laboratory Center, Riau, to ascertain the content of each existing evidence," said Anggorodanisir ANTARA, Thursday, June 5.

He explained that TZ studied self-taught the manufacture of electronic cigarette liquid from an annealed contaminant in a microrowave, then into powder mixed with vape liquid.

Then, the e-cigarettes that have been mixed with hard drugs are circulated in the Batam area with buyers from certain circles.

"As a result of our examination, the perpetrators have marketed their products to a number of customers from certain circles," he said.

The effect of using electronic cigarette liquids containing the etomydate is for users such as anesthetic orfly.

"This Minilab has been operating for 2.5 months," he said.

Anggoro said TZ received the hard drugs for the raw material for electronic cigarette liquid from a Malaysian citizen with the initials S.

"This S supplies hard drugs to TZ. He also supplies vapes containing the Batam economy," he said.

Investigators have included S as a wanted list (DPO) whose whereabouts are currently being hunted.

In addition, the suspect TZ also circulated methamphetamine and ecstasy drugs.

From the location of the arrest, officers confiscated evidence of methamphetamine weighing 195.7 grams, ketaminase weighing 2,300 grams, ketamine weighing 630.58 grams, keytamine 213.3 grams, 454 pilhappy five, and several packs suspected of containing drugs of various brands whose chemical network is still being tested.

In addition, the police also arrested the perpetrator with the initials DS who circulated liquid containing the etomydate of various brands, such as 225 packs of Green Manggo's Ferrari vape liquid, 3 packs of One Rasberry Number liquid, and a pack ofWhite Rubbit Strawberry Milkshake.
