The Dompu District Attorney, West Nusa Tenggara, stated that the handling of the alleged corruption case of grant funds for the Dompu Regency Family Welfare Program Mobilizing Team (PKK) worth IDR 2 billion is still ongoing at the investigation stage.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Dompu Kejari, Joni Eko Waluyo, was contacted from Mataram on Wednesday, explaining that at this stage, his party was still investigating a number of related parties.

The head of the Dompu Regency PKK TP is the wife of former Dompu Regent A. Jaelani cadre, namely Lilis Suryani. He is the reported person suspected of corruption in this case.

Despite having examined the reported party, Joni said that at this stage of the investigation his party had not conducted a case title to see the elements of unlawful acts.

"We have not concluded (the criminal direction)," he said.

One of the reasons related to coordination with experts is to see the legal views and potential losses to the state.

Head of the NTB Attorney General's Office, Enen Saribanon, previously said that the Indonesian Attorney General's Office also supervised the slow attitude of the Dompu Kejari in handling this case.

"So, regarding this case, the AGO has sent a letter to us, and we have submitted the letter to the Dompu Kejari as the handling party," said Enen.

Kejari Dompu, continued Enen, has responded to the letter by submitting an investigation into the PKK grant case that is still ongoing and continues to grow.

As the leader of the Adhyaksa Corps in NTB, Enen emphasized that he paid attention to the handling of cases suspected of involving the wife of the former Regent of Dompu.

"The results of the monev (monitoring and evaluation) they (Kejari Dompu) are still being investigated, they are still investigating. They are also still coordinating with the Dompu Regency Inspectorate," he said.

Enen admitted that the handling of this alleged corruption case had been going on for a long time at the investigation stage, considering that the NTB Prosecutor's Office was the first party to receive the report in 2023.

"That's why we also pay attention to the handling," he said.

The NTB Prosecutor's Office delegated the handling of this case to the Dompu Kejari in October 2023 to facilitate handling.

Allegations of corruption that arise in this case are related to accountability reports that are considered fictitious and not transparent.
