Recycle Facilities In Northampton UK Fire, 10 Fire Cars Deployed

JAKARTA - A great fire engulfed a recycling facility in Rushden, Northampton, England on Friday, March 23 at 06.30 a.m. local time.

Firefighters who arrived at the fire site used a crane to water the red rooster. People in the building have been evacuated.

"Officers were summoned shortly before 06.30 am and upon arrival found a fire involving a large amount of plastic in the place," said one spokesman for the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, Friday, March 23, quoted from Metro.co.uk.

"We received cross-border support from the Fire and Rescue ServiceORshire in handling this incident," said the spokesman.

To anticipate the occurrence this weekend, the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service admitted that it would place its officers at the scene.

At the scene of the incident, there were also a number of police officers on guard and closed the road near the fire site.

"Some of Jalan Wellingborough near the warehouse was closed, and due to a large puff of smoke coming out of the fire, we asked local residents to avoid the area and close their windows and doors," the spokesman said.
