Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan or Noel said he had not received any information regarding the search of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) office.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is known to have searched the Ministry of Manpower's office today. This forced effort is related to the placement of foreign workers (TKA).

In line with Noel, the Director General of Industrial Relations and Social Security for Manpower (PHI and Jamsos) of the Ministry of Manpower, Indah Anggoro Putri, said that she did not receive any information regarding searches by the KPK today, according to the news circulating.

Indah assessed that there are other possibilities related to the arrival of the KPK in the Ministry of Manpower today.

Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Fitroh Rohcahyanto stated that his institutional investigators searched the Office of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) this Tuesday.

Fitroh further explained that the search was for the investigation of bribery and/or gratification cases.

"Sap and/or gratuities related to foreign workers or foreign workers," he explained.

In line with Fitroh, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo confirmed the search.

"It's true, the KPK team is conducting a search at the Ministry of Manpower," said Budi.
