Megawati Gives Directions To PDIP Regional Head Pramono Anung Not Present

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP), Megawati Soekarnoputri, gave a briefing at the closing ceremony of the Indonesian regional head briefing from PDIP at the PDIP Lenteng Agung DPP Party School, South Jakarta.

In the briefing, Megawati was accompanied by her son, Prananda Prabowo, and administrators of the Pimai PDIP DPP from the Chairperson of the Ganjar Pranowo DPP, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok, to Komarudin Watubun.

Several regional heads were present, including Bali Governor Wayan Koster, Jogja Mayor Hasto Wardoyo, Semarang Mayor Agustina Wilujeng to Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi. However, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung was not seen at the location.

Before Megawati briefed on the closure, PDIP DPP Chairman Ganjar Pranowo explained the results of the briefing of the head and deputy regional head which was held for 3 days since last Friday, May 16.

At the beginning of his presentation, Ganjar asked all regional heads from PDIP to be asked to carry out work programs based on political promises since the election campaign.

"We will uniform the ranks in the context of our joint agenda, ladies and gentlemen, fulfill all political promises, but in the corridor of our party we will all help each other once again, help each other, share experiences and of course the final result is progress in the place of ladies and gentlemen," explained Ganjar, Sunday, May 18.

There are three themes discussed in this briefing, including the potential for regional development, governance, and the characteristics of regional head programs from PDIP.

"So, political support and legalization are needed, including challenges from bureaucratic bureaucracy and assistance from friends at the special wabil center from the DPR RI," he continued.
