There Are Law Enforcers Threatened And Intimidated, President Prabowo Admits Secretly Knows

President Prabowo Subianto admitted that he knew that law enforcers received threats and intimidation from those who wanted to avoid being caught in the law.

The President also asked all law enforcement officers not to be afraid to fight the threats and intimidation addressed to them.

"I know that law enforcers are threatened. I know. I received a report. Some of their houses were visited, some their cars were followed, some their houses were photographed. We understand that," said President Prabowo during a speech at the IV PP Tidar Congress event in Jakarta, Saturday.

The President emphasized that he wanted to create a clean government and would continue to eradicate all forms of racial practice indiscriminately.

"I just want to say, we are not afraid. I am not afraid. I am 73 years old, I just want to leave my good name. I will carry out my duties. I will uphold justice. I will fight all forms of corruption in this republic indiscriminately," said Prabowo.

The President also emphasized that several major corruption cases began to be revealed in the first six months of his government.

"Almost every day, we uncover corruption cases and will not stop! We will not stop!" Prabowo said.

Prabowo then said that since receiving a mandate from the Indonesian people as President, he was determined to save people's money from the hands of corruptors.

"For the umpteenth time again, I emphasize, this is my oath, this is my determination, and I believe, and I have proven that in the six months of the government that I lead, we have saved hundreds of trillions of people's money," said the President.

On the same occasion, the President reminded the Indonesian people to face tough challenges because there are always great powers that want Indonesia to be independent and helpless.

"(They) are afraid that Indonesia can stand on our own feet. From the time of (the) our proclaimer Bung Karno until now, they don't want Indonesia to stand on our own feet. They always want to steal and rob the wealth of our nation," said President Prabowo.

These great powers, the President continued, are carrying out various ways and efforts to weaken the nation and state.

"With all their excuses and techniques, they want to damage the joints of our lives. They want to bribe our judges, buy our officials in all echelons, in all institutions," Prabowo said.

Therefore, the President also emphasized his commitment to continue to be guided by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD 45) and the law, to take action against anyone who violates the law, and harms the state.
