2 Brimob Members Killed In Puncak Jaya

JAKARTA - Two Brimob members were shot dead by an unknown person (OTK) in Mulia, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua.

Head of the Cartenz Peace Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani, confirmed that 2 members of Brimob died. But the shooter is not yet known.

"The case is still being investigated," said Faizal as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 15.

Data compiled by Antara revealed that the two personnel who died were Bripda Dedi Tambunan (20) and Bharada Raimon Rirey (20).

Both were shot by OTK according to the purchase of Pertalite type fuel around the village of Expel Behind using a motorbike about 50 meters from the Brimob Post.

Suddenly both of them were shot by OTK until they fell and died because their shot hit the right chest and penetrated the back of the right back. The two bodies were then evacuated by Mulia Hospital.
