"When the search was carried out, the perpetrator was successfully secured by an officer known as Eva Nasution (39), a resident of Jalan Dr. Mansyur," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit.

To the police, the perpetrator admitted that the illegal parking video that went viral on social media and said dirty words to motorcyclists was him.

"The perpetrator apologized to the citizens of the city of Medan, especially the victim for his actions and words. The perpetrator also promised not to repeat his actions again," said Iptu Irwansyah.

In the video, this Medan mamak then gets sanctioned sweeping the road. He also apologized to the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution.

"I apologize to the mayor of Medan and the people of the Republic of Indonesia. I promise I will not repeat the act of uttering dirty words, ”he said.
