JAKARTA - Chairman of the Ummat Party, Ridho Rahmadi, has rejected that his political party is called the 'group of anger' because many people are disappointed with the results of the 2019 presidential election (Pilpres).

"Anger? I think I can use another terminology, the opposite word, but that's okay. This is so that our dialect will be awakened," Ridho said, Thursday, April 29.

According to Ridho, it would be more fitting for Ummat Party cadres to be called as having a firm stance.

"I prefer to use the word that these people who are indeed struggling, even though they have to change clothes, change boats, still carry the spirit of struggle," continued Amien Rais' son-in-law.

As is known, Amien Rais' Ummat Party was finally officially declared, Thursday, April 29.

The event was broadcasted on Amien Rais Official YouTube account at 13.00 western Indonesia time.

In management, Amien Rais occupies the position of Chairman of the Syuro Council. MS Kaban as Deputy Chairman I, Habib Thalib Segaf Adjufri as Deputy Chairman II, and Ansufri Idrus Sambo as Secretary.

On the Central Executive Board, young politician Ridho Rahmadi was appointed as the General Chairman. He was accompanied by the Secretary-General who was filled by Ahmad Muhajir Sodruddin.

Meanwhile, for the General Treasurer of the Ummat Party is Benny Suharto.

The position of Deputy General Chairman (Waketum) I was occupied by Agung Mozin, Deputy General Chairman II was Sugeng, and Deputy General Chairman III was Chandra Tirta Wijaya.

The three of them are senior politicians in Indonesia who have previously been on board the National Mandate Party (PAN).
