JAKARTA - PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani opened her voice about the implementation of the PDIP's VIth Congress which was canceled in April 2025. Puan said the PDIP Congress would still be held this year.
"This year, God willing, when will we announce it soon," said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 7.
When asked about the Congress to be held in Bali in June, Puan was reluctant to confirm. According to him, all developments of information related to the implementation of the congress will be announced to the public.
"In time we will announce it. (But still, red) This year," said the chairman of the DPR RI.
Previously, it was the PDIP Congress' plan to determine the general chairman until the composition of the party management for the period which was only held in April 2025. However, the implementation was canceled. Until now, the reason for the Bataknya is not known for holding the VI PDIP Congress.
