Azis Syamsuddin Is Asked To Resign From The Leadership Of The House Of Representatives

JAKARTA - Researcher for the Community Concerned Parliamentary Forum (Formappi) Lucius Karus asked Azis Syamsuddin to resign from his position as chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR) after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the office and private residence of Azis regarding the involvement of the Deputy Speaker of the DPR in the bribery case of investigator Stepanus Robin. "If Golkar doesn't take the initiative, I think we really have to wait for the process at the Honorary Council of the Court (MKD). When Setya Novanto was chairman of the DPR, he was also forced to resign from his position based on the MKD decision", said Lucius.
