JAKARTA Although Hasan Nasbi has submitted a letter of resignation as Head of Presidential Communication Office - PCO), it turns out that this has not materialized. The proof is that he returned to his post or failed to resign from his previous position.

When asked by reporters who served at the Presidential Palace about this, Hasan straightforwardly gave an explanation. "What is clear is that yesterday I received an invitation from Mr. Seskab to attend a cabinet meeting (today). And indeed last week I had a meeting, I met the President, then met with the Minister of State Secretary, Mr. Seskab. At that moment I was ordered to continue my duties to lead the PCO office. So that's about the situation," Hasan explained to reporters, including VOI journalists.

Through this presence, Hasan Nasbi emphasized that he was ready to return to his position so far. "The issue of whether his resignation letter was rejected or not, he could not explain. Friends, rejected or not, maybe later can be asked to the Minister of State Secretary. But what is clear, what I received was an order to continue the task of leading the PCO so far, "he said.

When asked whether the message to continue the task was delivered directly by the President or by the Minister of State Secretary, he gave statements and arguments like this: "We are talking about things that are common about the state with the President, but then the order to forward it was conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary and Cabinet Secretary," he said.

When asked if there was an evaluation from President Prabowo regarding what was in the public spotlight in terms of communication that he had done so far, he did not deny that the President wanted improvements.

What is clear is that the President's message, things that need to be improved, will be corrected immediately. Things that have not been good in the past will then be improved and must be improved. So the President's order is more common," he said.

Regarding the appointment of a new palace spokesman, has it not overlapped with the main duties and functions given to PCO so far? Tupoksi the President's communication office has been written in the Presidential Decree. And the most senior official at the Palace is the Minister of State Secretary. So actually the Minister of State Secretary can speak anything because he is the most senior official at the Palace. If we really have to be given a communication label, we can only talk. According to Hasan, he only wants to be consistent with the tasks that have been carried out and the main tasks that have been written clearly in the Presidential Decree as PCO officials.
