Died During The DKI PDIP Halalbihalal Event, Brando Susanto Is Remembered As A Humble Figure

JAKARTA - Member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Brando Susanto, died while reading his remarks at the DKI Jakarta PDIP DPD halalbibalal event attended by the Governors of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung-Rano Karno at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Sunday, April 27.

During his lifetime, this man who was born in Jakarta, September 21, 1977, was remembered as a humble person to anyone. Brando also often brings a more fluid atmosphere and entertains his colleagues at the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"He is a politician who is very open and humble to anyone and any party. It's like a dream to hear this sad news," Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Rani Mauliani told reporters, Monday, April 28.

Brando has experience in being involved in a number of organizations and institutions. The late served as Chairman of the Fisip Unpar Student Association, Chairman of the Unpar Student Family Cooperative, Secretary General of the Kanisius Jakarta Alumni Association, Secretary of the North Jakarta PDI-P DPC, Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Red and White Youth DPD, to a political career at the end of his life as a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD for the period 2024-2029.

"I feel very lost. He is a very kind person and an extraordinary discussion friend. Although maybe he has just become a member of the DPRD, he is not a new person to politics," explained Rani.

During the seconds of his departure, Brando was greeting all PDIP cadres and volunteers who were present at the halalbihalal event on Sunday afternoon. In the midst of his remarks, Brando suddenly fell down.

Seeing the incident, cadres on stage immediately provided assistance to Brando to be taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance.

After that, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, gave a speech. He thanked the cadres and volunteers and explained Jakarta's development policies during his leadership.

In the middle of his speech, Pramono gave news that Brando had died. Sobbing, Pramono invited all parties present to pray for Brando's departure.

"I want to express my deep sorrow. Innalillahi wainailahi rajiun. Our friend, our friend, the chairman of our committee. What we witnessed together in giving a speech. I just received news. If our friend Brando dies," said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung in a shaking tone.

"Hopefully brother Brando will get heaven for what he has done. Al fatiah. Amen, Amen. Ladies and gentlemen. This is our common sorrow," he added.

In Pramono's eyes, Brando is a party mate who actively contributes to the people of Jakarta. Pramono thanked the late who played an active role in absorbing the aspirations of the residents until they died.

"What our friends are doing, our brando brothers are examples for all of us. Work until the end of his life," he added.
