JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said that his party is currently drafting regulations governing 15 groups of people facilitated by free public transportation starting from Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta. The nominal budget subsidized to eliminate this service has been approved.
"What is our enthusiasm to start giving free money to public transportation, including yesterday's 15 groups in my meeting with the Deputy Governor. We have decided that for the 15 groups, we will agree to the figures," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, April 21.
These fifteen groups will also be free to use Transjabodetabek services when the routes are officially operational.
"Thus, it remains only to determine when these 15 groups will be free to take the LRT, MRT or take the Transjakarta, which we will change later to Transjabodetabek," said Pramono.
