Pramono Projects 24 Hours Park Opening Can Reduce Brawls In Jakarta

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung projects that the number of brawls in Jakarta could be reduced by the opening of a number of parks for 24 hours.

According to Pramono, the community, especially youth in Jakarta, can fill their spare time by doing activities in the park, from exercising to being creative. Thus, a public space such as a park with complete facilities is needed.

"We will open parks in Jakarta 24 hours. This includes places for sports and also places for art expression that we will improve," said Pramono in the Angke Kapuk Protected Forest, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Sunday, April 20.

According to Pramono, brawls can occur because people have enough free time to excess energy for young anals. They need a place to express themselves. Parks that are open 24 hours, according to him, can be a solution.

"For that, hopefully the park, which is open 24 hours, will be able to reduce the brawls in Jakarta," said Pramono.

For information, a number of parks that will be opened by the DKI Provincial Government for 24 hours include Ayodya Park, Langsat Park, and Leuser Park.

The decision to open 24 hours was made in line with Pramono's plan to make the Blok M area the capital city of ASEAN. Given, the location of the ASEAN Secretariat Office is located not far from the three parks.

"We will make this park, these three parks Ayodya, Langsat and Leuser are ASEAN's main parks. And in the medium term, this place will really be the means of the ASEAN capital," said Pramono at Taman Langsat, South Jakarta, Friday, April 11.

Pramono assessed that the facilities in these three parks were quite complete as a space for community activities. Plus, many MSME players trade around it. However, he admitted that it was necessary to arrange.

"For this reason, I will immediately start the desire to open 24 hours, one of which starts from this park. This is to become the initial landmark for Jakarta, it will have a park that is open 24 hours. Especially in this area, in the short term, Blok M will also be carried out with many renovations," explained Pramono.

The arrangements that will be carried out include the parking procession and toilet renovations. In addition, the DKI Provincial Government will add a jogging track facility in the park.

In addition to the three parks in the Kebayoran Baru area, other parks that will be opened 24 hours include Lapangan Banteng, Taman Menteng, and Taman Literacy Martha Tiahahu.

Then, there are also a number of other parks that will be operated until 22.00 WIB. One of them is Tebet Eco Park.
