SERANG PWI Pusat again showed commitment and seriousness in supporting the Subsidy House Program for Journalists. Central PWI Chairman Hendry Ch Bangun together with the PWI Housing Team directly inspected a number of residential locations that would be prepared for journalists who do not yet have a house.

One of the points visited was Pondok Banten Indah Housing, Serang City, Banten. In this activity, Hendry Ch Bangun was accompanied by the Head of the Tundra Meliala Central PWI Housing Team, the Chairman of PWI Banten Mashudi, and a number of other administrators.

This survey is part of a follow-up to cooperation between the government and PWI to provide decent housing for journalists. The location is strategic, near the central government of Banten Province and access to the East Serang toll road," said Hendry on the sidelines of the activity, Saturday (19/4/2025).

According to Hendry, the Subsidized Home Program for Journalists is a tangible manifestation of the state's attention to the basic needs of low-income people, including journalists. The financing scheme is carried out through Tapera and KPR Sejahtera BTN.

"We make sure only those who are entitled to receive it. This program is the result of collective work, and will be strictly verified so that it is right on target," he said.

Apart from Serang, a survey was also conducted at Puri Delta Tigaraksa Housing, Tangerang. The team is divided into two groups. Team 1 is led directly by Hendry Ch Bangun and Tundra Meliala. Meanwhile, Team 2 consisting of M. Sarwani and Sangky Wahyudin visited the location in Tangerang.

Tundra Meliala explained, this is a follow-up survey after a visit to Pesona Kahuripan Housing, Cileungsi, Bogor on April 17, 2025.

Puri Delta Tigaraksa Sales Management Officer, Afilianto Luhur, said that the subsidy house type Anggrek was equipped with two bedrooms, one bathroom, family room and kitchen. The location is only 700 meters from Tigaraksa Station and 10 minutes to Tenjo Station.

Tenor installments are available 15 to 20 years. Installments per month range from IDR 1.2 million to IDR 1.4 million, depending on the tenor chosen.

"This is a real project initiated by the Ministry of PKP together with the Central PWI for the future of journalists," concluded Tundra.
