Governor Gusnar Ismail: North Gorontalo PSU Ready To Be Held

Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail stated that the re-voting (PSU) in North Gorontalo Regency is ready to be held marked by the logistics shift of the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in the re-voting (PSU) in the area.

"Today we are shifting logistics vehicles for PSU to the nearest sub-district as a sign that the PSU in this district is ready to be held on Saturday 19 April 2025," said the Governor releasing the PT POS fleet used to transport ballots, as well as trucks transporting ballot boxes and other logistics," he said at the North Gorontalo General Election Commission (KPU) office in Bulalo Village, Kwandang District, Antara, Friday, April 18.

The logistics shift also removed all speculation and statements from anyone regarding the implementation of the PSU.

"On behalf of the Provincial Government, Forkopimda and the North Gorontalo district government stated that the local government is very ready to implement the PSU on Saturday 19 April 2025 under the implementation of the KPU and Bawaslu supervision," he said.

The governor also encouraged all organizers, both KPU and Bawaslu, to do their best, to implement the PSU.

Followed today in four nearby sub-districts, 19 tomilito sub-districts, 16 polling stations in Monano District, 32 polling stations in Anggrek District, and 49 polling stations in the center of the district capital in Kwandang District.

The logistics shift was also attended by Deputy Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, Acting Regent of North Gorontalo Sila Botutihe, Chairman of the KPU of Gorontalo Province Sophian Rahmola, Chairman of the North Gorontalo KPU Sofyan Jakfar, Bawaslu provinces and districts. As well as elements of the Provincial and Regency Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), as well as related regional apparatus organizations (OPD).
