JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo reminded the DKI Jakarta Health Office (Dinkes) not to experience delays in the construction of the Cakung Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in East Jakarta.

"For Cakung Hospital, the construction should not be too late. Next year it must be possible to start," said Pramono Friday, April 18.

He targets the Cakung Hospital to start operating by the end of 2026. He also emphasized the importance of rebranding the hospital in order to bring new hope to Jakarta residents.

"Including, we have determined the management. I want Cakung Hospital to be the first hospital we rebranded," he said.

Pramono hopes that Cakung Hospital can appear as a modern hospital that can build public trust in treatment services.

He also highlighted the negative perception that had been attached to the hospital because it was located in a densely populated area.

Therefore, he encouraged the DKI Jakarta Health Office to change the image of the Cakung Hospital to a hospital with special advantages that could be the pride of the citizens.

"I hope that later, after being re-branded, this hospital will no longer be called just a hospital. There must be specific advantages that make it superior. So we will fully support it like that," said Pramono.
