Willy said that the evaluation of prison and detention center management needs to be carried out from upstream to downstream. Various problems that occur in prisons, according to him, need to be unraveled one by one so that the roadmap for repairing prisons in Indonesia can be generated.
"Commission XIII has tubed many records about capacity, facilities, prison management on the downstream side, including of course this Sialang Bungkuk prison case. We have also had formal and informal dialogue with various parties regarding the correctional system of these inmates. We will review everything according to the DPR's supervisory rights mechanism," he said.
