City Government Orders Billboards And Illegal Reclames Near Bogor Palace

BOGOR - The Bogor City Government (Pemkot) has again brought order to billboards and billboards because they do not have a permit, especially around Jalan Istana Bogor Jalan Ir H. Juanda, Central Bogor District, Wednesday, April 16.

To date, 13 billboards and billboards have been cut. 10 of them were cut by the Bogor City Government, while the remaining 3 were cut independently by the private sector, in this case the owner of the billboard.

"Technically, because in Bapenda there are too many garbage confiscated, I will coordinate with BKAD to destroy assets or remove assets by auction. But the auction is a junk auction because of used goods," said Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Jenal Mutaqin in his statement.

Jenal Mutaqin emphasized that the Bogor City Government had issued an appeal letter to the owners to dismantle the unauthorized billboards themselves.

Some obey, some don't. We have dismantled those who don't follow. Earlier, as soon as we arrived (to control on Jalan Juanda), those who had come with some of their employees and dismantled them themselves," said Jenal Mutaqin.

Jenal Mutaqin admits, out of a total of 58 billboards, there are some whose permits have not expired, so they cannot be cut.

However, by the end of this year, all points must be clear of billboards, especially on the SSA route or the state guest path to the Bogor Presidential Palace.

Apart from that, Jenal Mutaqin also revealed that the potential for tax loss from billboards along SSA reached IDR 2.5 billion.

"No problem, as long as the attention from Pak Prabowo is carried out. Bogor is neater, free of billboards, and the aesthetics will be arranged more beautifully. Trees will be planted to make it even more beautiful," concluded Jenal.
