After 4 Illegal Jukir Tanah Abang Market Arrested, Car Parking Turnover Reaches IDR 400 Thousand Per Day

The Tanah Abang Metro Police arrested a number of thugs and illegal parking attendants who often extort parking users of up to Rp. 60,000 per car in the Tanah Abang Market area, Central Jakarta.

The arrests were made around Jalan Kebon Jati, Kampung Bali Village and Kebon Kacang Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta by members of the Tanah Abang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"It has been secured, the perpetrators are about 4 people. They are illegal jukir status, the perpetrator has admitted their actions," said Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, Kompol Haris Akhmat Basuki when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Of the four illegal jukir perpetrators who were arrested, it is known that the initials AF alias Darto (36), AP (36), NH (28) and Y (40).

The perpetrator with the initials AF played a role in asking for and receiving Rp. 60,000 from illegal parking practices. The perpetrator of AF keeps illegal parking with the perpetrator with the initials AP who is the ruler of the illegal parking location.

From the results of maintaining illegal parking in the area, it will be divided into two between AF and AP actors. In practice, the perpetrators charge IDR 40-50 thousand.

However, in the viral video, parking rates are Rp. 60,000, the perpetrators argue that they only ask for Rp. 10 thousand.

The perpetrator with the initials AP is known as a resident of Kebon Kacang. He often receives deposits from AF perpetrators, his subordinates. In a day, they get a parking deposit of Rp. 400 thousand, then the proceeds are divided equally.

In addition to the jukir with the initials AF and AP, the police also arrested another jukir with the initials NH. From NH's hands, the police confiscated Rp. 62,000 from illegal vehicle parking money.

In the action, NH acts as a motorcycle parking attendant illegally. NH charges Rp. 5,000 per motorbike. NH perpetrators get an average daily result of Rp. 50,000 after depositing parking money to a man with the initials A (buron).

Meanwhile, a wild jukir with the initials Y was also arrested. Y plays a role in making the sidewalk a illegal motorbike parking with a tariff of IDR 5,000.

Then the illegal jukir were secured to the Tanah Abang Metro Police for further investigation.
