JAKARTA - An online motorcycle taxi driver (Ojol) named Nur Hasan (45) was forced to deal with the East Jakarta Metro Police Satnarkoba after being caught smuggling 535.25 grams of methamphetamine into the Class 1 Cipinang Prison, East Jakarta.

For his actions, Nur Hasan was charged with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
"The threat of punishment imposed is the death penalty, life imprisonment, or imprisonment for a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years," said AKP Suminto.
Currently, the case is still being developed by the East Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit to uncover a network of other suspects who are inside and outside the Cipinang Prison.
