Interesting Things From The Arrest Of Tio Pakusadewo Who Was Caught In A Drug Case

JAKARTA - Senior actor Tio Pakusadewo was arrested for a narcotics abuse case. He was arrested at his residence in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, with the evidence of a package of marijuana weighing 18 grams and a set of methamphetamine suction devices.

During the process of arrest and search, something caught our attention. All police officers wore personal protective equipment (PPE) when looking for evidence at the residence of the senior actor.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the use of PPE by investigators was reasonable to minimize the spread of the corona virus or COVID-19. Therefore, the dangerous virus can be anywhere and cannot be detected.

"There are those who use this PPE as a form of preparedness and prevention for members. Don't let the person concerned (it turns out) be ODP, so we anticipate ourselves," said Yusri in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 14.

The use of PPE when searching which was recorded and spread on social media, said Yusri, had led to the assumption that Tio Pakusadewo was a person who was infected with COVID-19.

In fact, the condition of the senior actors is completely healthy. This was also reinforced by the results of medical examinations that had been carried out and stated that they were negative for COVID-19.

"In accordance with the procedures for the COVID-19 situation, we have carried out a rapid test and the result is negative," said Yusri.

Yusri explained that this arrest began when investigators received information about the abuse of narcotics around Tio Pakusadewo's residence. Investigators also studied this information for some time.

Information about allegations of narcotics abuse is getting stronger. This is because during the investigation it was observed that someone was in and out of the senior actor's residence. So that, Tuesday, April 14, at around 01.00 WIB, investigators raided his residence.

The officers also secured Tio and ransacked his residence. As a result, a set of methamphetamine suction devices and a package of dried marijuana leaves were found from one of the cabinets. Then, from the urine test results, this senior actor was proven to be a drug user.

"He also consumed marijuana and also methamphetamine. He admitted that he could initially use it once a week. This is his confession," said Yusri.

Currently, continued Yusri, investigators are still developing the case to arrest a figure with the initials R who is a supplier of crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy to Tio. Meanwhile, the cannabis supplier with the initials IG has been arrested.

"For evidence of marijuana found at the crime scene at the suspect's residence, the initials are IG. This IG has just been arrested," said Yusri.

For his actions, Tio Pakusadewo was charged with Article 114 Paragraph 1 Subsider Article 111 and also Article 127 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 with the threat of a maximum sentence of 5 years at the maximum 20 years in prison
