JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) emphasized the importance of infrastructure as a supporter of growth and creating sustainable Indonesia's economic resilience.

During a meeting with a number of media leaders after reviewing the flow of homecoming at Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, Friday, the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) conveyed the importance of infrastructure development.

AHY explained that his party continues to strive for economic growth through infrastructure development that is right on target in order to support the various priority programs that have been launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

In the infrastructure sector, AHY said that the government continues to support various national priorities such as food self-sufficiency, energy, and downstream programs that can strengthen the Indonesian economy.

"In the infrastructure sector, we strive so that infrastructure can continue to support the various priorities of the President, especially in creating food self-sufficiency, energy self-sufficiency, and downstream programs," said AHY.

According to him, good infrastructure will be an important driver in creating sustainable economic resilience and ensuring that Indonesia can compete at the global level.

"So that can also be a more sustainable economic leverage," he said.

For him, the economy will continue to be dynamic and global challenges will not stop, but the government still has to build optimism to maintain Indonesia's economic stability and growth.

"The name economy will continue to be dynamic, but we also have to build Indonesia's optimism in the midst of a global situation that is currently not easy economically," he said.

AHY said that although other countries are also facing difficulties, Indonesia must take advantage of existing opportunities to optimize economic potential in the midst of global conditions that are not easy.

"Other countries are also experiencing challenges that are also not simple, but hopefully we can keep our growth, while we continue to look for opportunities," said AHY.
