Homecomers Are Advised To Be Unsatisfied Or Iftar On The Shoulder Of The Toll Road

JAKARTA - The police urge travelers not to carry out sahur or break the fast of Ramadan on the shoulder of the toll road because it will endanger the flow of traffic on the freeway in the midst of the density of the Eid homecoming flow.

"At dawn we still found a vehicle that stopped on the shoulder of the toll road to carry out the sahur," said Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol. Sonny Irawan in Semarang, Friday.

According to him, officers who found the travelers stopping on the shoulder of the road were immediately given an appeal to change locations because it endangered the flow of traffic.

He appealed to travelers to enter the resting place that had been provided if they were to carry out sahur or break the fast.

"Or you can go out for a while through the toll exit, to a safe location. Not on the shoulder of the road," he added.

According to him, the implementation of the one-way route nationally from the Cikampek Utama to Kalikangkung to Semarang toll gate has been implemented starting Friday morning.

The traffic engineering, he continued, was extended from Kalikangkung to Bawen to break down the traffic density.

"For the sake of comfort, security, and smooth homecoming, the implementation of one way starting from Cikampek Utama is connecting to toll roads in Semarang City to Bawen," he said.

The rise of the homecoming flow from the west to Central Java, he continued, was dominated by vehicles passing by toll roads.
