President Prabowo Subianto Checks People's School Readiness, A Number Of Ministers Called

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting (ratas) regarding the readiness of the People's School program at the Presidential Palace, Monday, March 24.

A number of ministers were summoned, including Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Muhaimin Iskandar, and Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf.

A total of 45 points of People's Schools in all are ready to accept new students. This number is only the first stage of the 211 points proposed as the location for the construction of the People's School.

According to Saifullah Yusuf or who is familiarly called Gus Ipul, a number of locations said that proposals from Provinces and Regencies/Cities for People's Schools were increasing.
