Regarding The Bogor-Serpong Toll Road Project Via Parung, BPJT: Only Waiting For Environmental Permit Approval

JAKARTA - The Bogor-Serpong Toll Road Project via Parung is only waiting for approval from environmental permits. This was revealed by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU).

"We are waiting for the approval of the environmental permit, actually the guarantee of the offer has been expired but because we are waiting for the permit, we have extended the guarantee of this offer (extend), and hopefully in the near future, it will not take care of it again by the toll road business entity (BUJT)," said the Head of BPJT Miftachul Munir in Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 22.

The BUJT for the Bogor-Serpong Toll Road via Parung, namely PT Bogor Serpong Infra Selaras, has been formed by a consortium consisting of PT Persada Utama Infra, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, and PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur which have been determined as winners at the toll road business auction by the BPJT Ministry of Public Works.

According to Munir, based on the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) action plan, which requires that the Analysis document on Environmental Impact (Amdal) be part of the toll road business, it can be continued if the Amdal document is completed.

"Now the process is again to obtain permission from the Ministry of Environment, so at that time they have obtained a permit, the BPJT will immediately sign it, they (BUJT) will continue," he said.

For information, the Bogor-Serpong Toll Road Project via Parung is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 3 road network plan to encourage economic and regional growth.

The starting point of this toll road will connect the Selabend junction (Bogor) and the Serpong intersection through Parung. There are 5 interchanges and 2 junctions.

The JORR 3 road network itself plans to include the Kamal-Telukana-Rajeg Toll Road, the South Sentul-West Karawang Toll Road, the Bogor-Serpong Toll Road via Parung and the Semanan-Balaraja Toll Road.
