Return Quota For KJP Plus Recipients Who Had Been Crossed Out, Pramono: In The Past No One Decided

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung decided to return the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus quota, which was partially crossed out in phase 2 distribution in 2024.

In phase 1 of 2025, the DKI Provincial Government 707,622 has started disbursing educational assistance for the celebrations in January, February, and March since Thursday, March 20.

According to Pramono, the return on the number of KJP recipients can now be done because there is political intention from the regional head to help more students get their education.

"So, the leader's most important function decided. In the past no one decided, now Bang Doel and I have decided," Pramono told reporters, Friday, March 21.

Of the total recipients of KJP Plus phase 1 in 2025, 580,893 are students who are recipients of existing or advanced, and 126,729 are new recipients and students who were dropped from the KJP acceptance phase 2 of 2024.

The return of hundreds of thousands of KJP revenues has been Pramono and Rano Karno's promise since the beginning of his tenure as Governor of DKI Jakarta. This is because the revocation of some of the KJP Plus acceptances last year had drawn protests.

"I and Bang Doel decided, okay, everyone got it and then we made the governor's regulation so that everyone could get it. So if you ask why it wasn't decided in the past, I don't want to look back," said Pramono.

The disbursement of KJP Plus phase 1 of 2025 is stated in the Governor's Decree Number 266 of 2025.

The details are students with SD/MI levels as many as 338,971, SMP/MTS 189,437, SMA/MA as many as 62,295, SMK as many as 111,315, SLB as many as 2,908, and PKBM levels as many as 2,696 students.

From the addition of revenues to 707,622 students, the budget that the DKI Provincial Government has to disburse has increased from IDR 2.05 trillion to IDR 3.29 trillion.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI President Director Agus H Widodo said that his party was optimizing the distribution of the KJp Plus educational assistance program digitally based on cards.

This is based on a warrant from the P4OP of the Education Office to distribute KJP Plus funds to Bank DKI.

Assistance recipients are also made it easier to make various financial transactions through integration with the JakOne Mobile digital banking application.

"Through support for KJP Plus, Bank DKI plays a role in distributing aid as well as actively contributing to advancing education, improving the quality of life of the community, and realizing a more prosperous and competitive city of Jakarta," said Agus.
